Nestled in the pines and dotting the shoreline, our housekeeping cabins will accommodate four-to-seven people with full kitchen/cooking facilities and bathrooms with hot showers.
Two of the cabins, West Grand and St. Croix, sleep six or seven and are rustic log cabins with fieldstone fireplaces and woodstoves, and a porch that overlooks the lake.
The Machais and Sugarbowl Cabins each sleep 2, full kitchen, bathroom with hot shower, woodstove and screened porch.
The Pleasant Pines Cabin has two bedrooms, bathroom with hot shower, full kitchen, gas heater and screened porch.
The East Wing offers complete housekeeping, one bedroom, bath, fieldstone fireplace and porch. It is attached to the Main Lodge and because of our battery bank, has power all the time.
All cabins are supplied with blankets, towels and cooking utensils. If you don't bring sleeping bags, linens are available for you to make up the bed(s) upon request.
For those of you who are loyal patrons of our humble establishment, the beds will no longer be made up due to my old age and aching back.
Although we are nestled in the wilderness of Maine, we do offer electricity; albeit in a limited capacity. We have a generator that we run from 7:00 am to 8:30 am and 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm. In addition, gas lights are standard in every cabin which provide light and ambience.
